This month we had the opportunity to talk with the Navajo Warrior one of Independent wrestlings stars.

UCW: What got you interested in Pro Wrestling?

NW: As a kid I used to attend the shows and wanted to be a wrestler as soon as I saw my first match.

UCW: How was it the first time that you stepped into the ring?

NW: I was really excited, I was training on mats until I graduated to an actual ring.

UCW: Who came up with your gimmick?

NW: I did, it is just me turned up to 20.

UCW: Was that the first gimmick that you used or were there others?

NW: My first gimmick was The Ice Man, picture a john Cena gimmick, but 12 years ago.

UCW: What promotions did you work for and who are you affiliated with currently?

NW: I have worked for many promotions, and still do.

UCW: What else do you do beyond wrestling?, what are your hobbies?

NW: Beyond wrestling, I like to spend time with my family and I also enjoy watching movies.

UCW: Do you see yourself eventually making it to the corporate structure of the wrestling world, namely the WWE? Or are you content where you are now?

NW: I want to be a full time employee of the WWE, but if that never happens I am happy with what I have done in my career.

UCW: Most people that get involved with wrestling have other aspirations, do you see yourself going into acting
in the future?

NW: Not really, but I have done some small movie parts in the past.

UCW: Over the past 6 to 10 years wrestling has change a lot, the envelope is constantly being pushed which is forcing todays workers to perform more extreme moves, what are your feelings on this?

NW: I think it has gone as far as it can without actually having guys kill each other. I believe it is slowly going back to the way it was 10 years or more ago.

UCW: Do you feel that the Indy scene is starting to develop more of a following nowadays, especially with only one major
promotion in Wrestling?

NW: Not really, although it may look that way with the internet coverage it is getting. I think if you went to a WWE event and asked a random group of people if they knew about Indy wrestling most would say no.

UCW: If you can change anything about wrestling what would it be?

NW: The politics.

UCW: Now were going to stray off the Pro Wrestling path, tell us more about the real you, your likes, dislikes, your ultimate goals in life both business and personal.

NW: I like honesty (I know, wrong business), and genuine people. My ultimate goal in life is to be the best I can be, whether that be my career or my personal life.

UCW: Tell us about your training routine, how often do you lift weights? How often do you get ring time?

NW: I am in the gym lifting at least 5 days a week, and in the ring at least 3 days a week.

UCW: If you had to pick one person, who would you say that you pattern yourself after?

NW: My mother.

UCW: And, lastly, do you have any inspirational words or stories to share with your devoted fans?

NW:  Never let anyone tell you that you can't achieve your goals, and never give up on them.
